Untold Stories: Migration Threads that connect Dudley's diverse community

We will create a podcast to capture the stories and memories of our elders from the Afro-Caribbean community who migrated to the UK between 1947 and the 1970s. Young people from the community will interview their elders, recording their experiences of immigration. Each episode will focus on these personal journeys, highlighting the history of African and Caribbean migration. By sharing these stories, we aim to strengthen the bond between generations and help younger listeners understand their cultural heritage while preserving the memories of our elders. This podcast will serve as a platform to ensure that the stories are heard and remembered. We hope to create a space where their experiences can inspire and educate future generations about the strength and resilience of our community.
